The Camelot Center
Equine Assisted Therapy
Helping others grow and excel through their interaction with horses.

Welcome!
Founded in 1994, our organization was born from one mother's desire to help children experience the same hope and healing she witnessed in her own son. After seeing the positive impact horses had on her son, she was inspired to create a program where other children could benefit from the unique connection between horses and people.
What began with a heartfelt mission to serve children with cerebral palsy soon grew into a program that welcomed individuals with a wide range of physical, cognitive, emotional, and developmental challenges. Along the way, our program called several barns home, with each move representing another step forward in our commitment to serving the community.
In 2005, we found our permanent home in Southington, Ohio, where we continue to grow and fulfill the vision she established more than three decades ago. While much has changed since 1994, our purpose has remained the same - to provide opportunities for individuals of all abilities to gain confidence, build independence, and experience the life - changing bond between horse and rider.
